• Work Assignment will be approximately 70% clinical, 10% Teaching, 20% Research

• The ideal candidate should be a proven successful leader with on-going transformational practice innovation and the ability to build relationships.

• This individual will join an established abdominal organ transplant program and have a proven track record in all aspects of the liver transplantation process, including significant organ donor experience, while playing an integral role in the continued growth of the program.

• This recruitment will be essential in a strategic effort to expand our liver transplant program in the region.

• Fellowship training in an ASTS accredited abdominal transplantation program and board certification in general surgery are required.

• Additional surgical skills and interests in areas outside of transplantation are desirable.

• Opportunities to participate in the training of surgical residents and clinical research are available.

• Preferred candidates should have experience in leadership, program building, and quality assurance performance improvement (QAPI) while working as a member of a traditional transplantation multidisciplinary team.
