We are seeking a board certified or truly board eligible Hematology/Oncology Physician for a 91-day locum tenens assignment in Michigan. This opportunity begins on Apr 6, 2026, with day shifts scheduled Monday through Friday. The position focuses on lung cancer as the primary area, with a secondary emphasis on general and benign hematology, and includes participation in a multidisciplinary Tumor Board.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Perform required procedures including FNA/Biopsy
- Participate in multidisciplinary Tumor Board discussions
- Order diagnostic tests and imaging as appropriate
- Prescribe medications and manage treatment plans
- Oversee outpatient oncology care; approximately 60% hematology, 40% oncology
- Focus on lung cancer patients; secondary responsibility for general/benign hematology not assigned to other specialties
- Collaborate with Nurse Oncologist for chemotherapy administration
Additional Information
- Board certified or truly board eligible in Medical Oncology required
- Active Michigan medical license highly preferred; applications considered for those seeking licensure
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
