ThedaCare is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible inpatient psychiatrist to provide psychiatric care on a 19-bed adult psychiatry unit at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Neenah, Wisconsin. This role involves working alongside a multidisciplinary team, supervising psychiatry residents, and providing consults including via telehealth, with limited on-call duties. ThedaCare is seeking a BC/BE Inpatient Psychiatrist to support our 19 bed general adult psychiatry unit located at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center - Neenah in Wisconsin. - 7 on 7 off schedule (Monday thru Sunday)- 7am to 7pm. There are always two psychiatrists working on the unit from 7am to 7pm (flexibility with being on the unit)- The inpatient unit is supported by a multi-disciplinary team of an Inpatient Psychologist, Mental Health Clinicians, Occupational Therapists, RNs, and etc. to ensure the unit is meeting the diverse needs of the patients.- Provide psychiatric consults at the Neenah and Appleton hospitals, Appleton consults are completed via telehealth- Limited on-call responsibilities (3 nights per month)- Inpatient Psychiatrists support and supervise PGY3 residents from Medical College of Wisconsin Northeastern Wisconsin Psychiatry Residency who are completing their Consultation and Liaison Psychiatry rotation.- The Psychiatric group is part of a behavioral health division that includes; seven adult psychiatrists, five nurse practitioner and 50 Mental Health/Substance Abuse Counselors as well as Psychology, Neuropsychology services and a Mental Health Day Treatment Program. As part of an integrated system, support staff also helps the physician to provide excellent patient care!Hospital Overview-ThedaCare Regional Medical Center-Neenah is located in Neenah in the heart of the Fox River Valley. This 150-bed hospital includes:-ACS Level II Trauma Center, including a dedicated Chest Pain Center, and 24/7 staffing with board certified emergency medicine physicians.-ThedaStar, a helicopter-based response service for all of Northeastern Wisconsin.-ThedaCare Hospitalist Program- 24/7 hospitalist coverage-The Stroke Center, which is the only Primary Stroke Center certified by the Joint Commission in Northeast Wisconsin. -Specialized Neurology/Neurosurgery Unit, which includes nurses who receive additional certification in Caring for Neurology/Neurosurgery patients. - The Center of Rehabilitation Services, which offers treatment for trauma, stroke, orthopedic, and patients with neuromuscular conditions.- The Aylward Surgery Center,an on-site outpatient surgery center with four surgical suites, two procedure rooms, and a cystoscopy room.- Inpatient Behavioral Health Unit, a 19-bed unit with 24/7 staffing and a dedicated "Psychiatric Intensive Care" area, as well as detox beds.Benefits/Compensation:- Base Salary: $300,000 + up to $45,000 in value-based incentives (95% of our physicians hit the full $45,000 in value-based incentives)- Sign on Bonus: $100,000 forgiven over 5 years- PTO: 35 days inclusive of vacation, CME and holidays- CME: $4,500 - Health/Dental/Vision- Short and Long Term Disability- Malpractice, Paid Tail Coverage & WI Patient Compensation Fund- Licensing/Board Fees Reimbursement - Retirement Plans: 403b with a company match and 457b with a company contribution- Eligible to sponsor H1-B visas and green cards- Public Service Loan Forgiveness- Also attached to ThedaCare Regional Medical Center-Neenah is The Children's Hospital of Wisconsin-Fox Valley.
