Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift PCU position requiring Epic experience and the ability to float as needed.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospitalist general medicine Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
• 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week (18:45-07:15)
• Patient ratios are typically 1:5 on PCU with a goal of 1:4
• Travelers may be required to float to other PCU or Med Surg units
• Epic EMR experience is required
• Travelers must work at least one holiday per 13-week assignment, with two required during major winter holidays
• Orientation modules are provided, with dedicated time allowed for completion
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted up front for approval
• Return travelers must meet separation policy guidelines for eligibility

Requirements

• Active RN license required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Minimum of two professional references needed for consideration
• Candidates must not have been a former employee within the past year
• Travelers residing within 100 miles of the facility are considered local and may have additional restrictions
