Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New Jersey
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg Telemetry or acute care nursing experience
• BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
• Strong clinical assessment, monitoring, and communication skills
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced, team-oriented healthcare environment

Med/Surg Telemetry RN Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care in the Med/Surg Telemetry unit
• Monitor, assess, and interpret cardiac rhythms and vital signs
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals
• Accurately document patient care and clinical interventions in the EMR
• Educate patients and families on care plans, procedures, and discharge instructions
