Job Details:
- Location: Near Summertown, Tennessee
- Start Date: Immediate, ongoing through 2025
- Schedule:
- Clinic hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Hospital coverage: 24/7 availability
- Call: Yes, including nights and weekends
- Patient Load:
- Clinic: Approximately 8 patients per day
- Hospital: 1-3 patients per shift
- Age Range: Pediatric patients (0-18 years)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide both inpatient and outpatient pediatric surgical care
- Cover scheduled clinical hours plus on-call responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of surgical procedures, including:
- General and laparoscopic surgeries
- Trauma surgeries
- Neonatal and pediatric-specific surgeries such as appendectomy, hernia repairs, and intestinal surgeries
- Collaborate with a supportive team including pediatric anesthesiologists and intensivists
Requirements:
- Board Certification: Required or Board Eligible
- Fellowship: Fellowship-trained in Pediatric Surgery
- Certifications: PALS and BLS required
- Licensing: Must be licensed in Tennessee or eligible for IMLC
