Job Description
American Traveler is hiring a seasoned RN for a Med Surg/Telemetry travel assignment requiring night shifts and at least one year of specialty-specific experience.
Responsibilities
- Position is based in a Med Surg/Telemetry unit
- Work hours are 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- This is a 13-week travel contract
- Cares for medical-surgical and telemetry patients
- Night shift assignment with no mention of call or weekend requirements
- Responsible for providing nursing care to med-surg and telemetry patients on a busy hospital unit
- Must submit a complete application, skills checklist, references, nursing license verification, and certification copies for consideration
- US Social Security Number and Date of Birth required for employment eligibility; Canadian SSNs are not accepted
- All certifications must be valid through at least the first 30 days of the assignment
Requirements
- Active TX or Compact RN license required
- Minimum of 1 year recent Med Surg/Telemetry RN experience
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or ARC required
- No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
- Candidates must be eligible to work in the US with a valid Social Security Number and provide Date of Birth
