The Mobile Virtual Proc Provider is responsible for providing skilled clinical services to patients in their homes under the direction of a Hospitalist physician, supporting the delivery of acute-level care within the Hospital Care at Home (HCaH) service. The Paramedic functions as a clinical extender, collaborating with virtual providers and RNs through telemedicine and direct in-person care. Qualifications:
Education: Completion of state education requirements for an accredited Paramedic program.
Experience: Three years of experience in acute healthcare/hospital setting and/or EMS- Mobile Integrated Health Program.
Licensure: Active state license as a Paramedic (Community Paramedic and/or Critical Care license preferred). Valid driver's license and no restrictions prohibiting ability to transport patients, as needed.
Certification:
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
