RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:
• Work day or night shifts with 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Patient ratios: Day shift Med/Surg 1:4-5, Night shift Med/Surg 1:5-6, Day and Night IMC 3:1
• Float requirements to IMC level of care units within facility and med/surg units as needed based on unit need and skill
• Minimum 1-2 years of nursing experience required
• No call requirements
• Required certifications: BLS
• Complete MMC mandatory onboarding education
• Must have experience with tracheostomy care and reading/interpreting telemetry strips
• IMC RNs must have ventilator experience
• Work with equipment including ventilators, BiPaP, CPAP, epidural pumps, IV pumps, specialty beds, PCA pumps, VAC dressings, and trach care/maintenance
• Use Epic EMR system
• Care for patients with respiratory conditions, medical telemetry, some surgical patients, sepsis, DKA, altered mental status, failure to thrive, respiratory failure, and acute on chronic medical conditions
• Professional dress code required - no unprofessional clothing or shirts with logos other than hospital related
• Position emphasizes teamwork, flexibility, good communication, and patient-centered care

This healthcare facility features a 43-bed medical telemetry and intermediate care unit located on Bean 5. The facility provides comprehensive care for patients with complex medical conditions requiring telemetry monitoring and intermediate-level care. The organization utilizes Epic EMR systems and maintains modern medical equipment to support diverse patient needs including respiratory care, surgical recovery, and acute medical conditions.
