Job Details:

• Work 3 x 12-hour shifts per week
• Weekend requirement: Every other Saturday/Sunday with holiday coverage as needed
• Patient ratio: 2:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• Float occasionally to other units as needed
• 12-hour orientation provided
• Epic charting system experience required
• 2 years of ICU experience required
• Travel experience required
• Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing
• Only one holiday time-off request will be approved
• 50-mile travel requirement applies
• Required certifications: CA RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS (within 180 days), TNCC (within 180 days), NIHSS (within 90 days)
• Skills include arterial line management, ventilator management, blood product administration, central line care, cardiac drip titration, and management of critically ill patients
• Responsible for assessment, coordination, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care in acute patient setting
• Provide holistic and individualized care incorporating psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and lifestyle factors
• Maintain collaborative relationships with patients, families, physicians, and healthcare providers

Facility:

This healthcare facility operates a 44-bed intensive care unit providing critical care services to adult patients. The facility maintains a daily census of approximately 40 patients and offers comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and various other specialized services. The organization emphasizes quality patient care and maintains modern equipment and technology to support complex critical care needs.
