A well-respected health system in New Jersey is seeking an OB/GYN Hospitalist to provide 24-hour backup call coverage. This role ensures continuous hospital coverage and patient safety while supporting the hospitalist team.

Location: New Jersey
Setting: Inpatient - Hospital only
Schedule: Ongoing, flexible 24-hour call shifts
Shift: 24-hour on call (no clinic)
Duration: Ongoing
Responsibilities:
- The OB/GYN Hospitalist will be responsible for:
- Serving as backup support to the primary hospitalist team
- Providing care during surge volume, emergencies, or unplanned absences
- Delivering obstetric and gynecologic care per hospitalist protocols
- Maintaining 24-hour availability during scheduled shifts
- Ensuring compliance with hospital policies and documentation standards
Qualifications:
- Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Active medical license and DEA in applicable state
- BLS / ACLS certification
- Minimum 2 years of recent hospital experience preferred
- EMR experience (EPIC a plus)
- Strong communication and clinical judgment
