Job Description & Requirements

• Specialty: PACU - Post Anesthesia Care

• Shift: 12 hours, days

• Type of staff:
  • Day Shift – 1 Charge RN, 8 Staff RN, 1 PCA
  • Night Shift – 2 Staff RN On-call
• Patient Ratios – 2:1
• Type of equipment – Tele monitoring , Post Cardiac, Cath Devices, Ortho Devices
• EMR -EPIC
• Typical Procedures: Recovery of deep sedation, and management of post procedural devices.
• On Call: 4-5 call shifts (nights) per week schedule majority of scheduled shifts 10:30-23:00
• OT Status: Available

Must Haves: - An ASN degree minimum, BSN preferred - A recent 12 months of PACU RN experience in an acute hospital setting - AK RN License - BLS, ACLS, and PALS Certifications Preferred or Nice to Have: - EPIC Experience - Travel Experience
