Unit Specifics:
· Number of Beds : 9 L&D, 3 swing rooms, 2 ORs & 3 bed OBED
· Patient Ratios : 1-2
· Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : Unit Secretary and scrub tech, dedicated CRNA & midwife in-house 24/7, OBGYN on call
· Type of equipment :
· Documentation system: CPN and Meditech
· Scheduling requirements: 4 weekend shifts/month
· Floating policy: can float to m/b or outside department to task
· Patient Experience requirements: Remain above 75%
Hospital Specifics-
· Certifications: RN, ACLS, BLS, NRP.

Requested Skill Set:
Must have: Drive to provide highest quality of care to our laboring patients. Ability to support patient choice and promote vaginal birth opportunities specific to patient preference.
Advanced skills needed: Spinning babies helpful, STABLE also helpful
Procedures performed on unit: circulating in OR, IUPC, FSE, MgSO4, pp hemorrhage- JADA system, nitrous oxide
Certifications Required: RN, ACLS, BLS, NRP. Fetal monitoring
Dress Code: (Required uniform)
· Hot pink and black. May wear black on bottom but preferable hot pink on top.
