Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg night shift role requiring MS/Tele experience and a current TN or compact license.

Responsibilities

• Hospital setting in the Medical Surgical unit
• Night shift from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am
• Schedule may be either 3x12 or 4x12 hour shifts
• Every other weekend required
• No call obligations
• Float to other units required
• Care for Medical Surgical and telemetry patients
• Participation in nursing student support and clinical education is expected alongside patient care
• General orientation begins on Sundays and includes online CBLs
• 16 hours of nonbillable orientation provided
• Hospital may cancel or flex shifts in response to census changes without penalty
• AHA certifications only are accepted

Requirements

• Active TN or compact RN license required
• AHA BLS certification required
• Minimum of 2 years Medical Surgical and telemetry nursing experience required
• Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility
• Open to first-time travelers
