Job Details:

• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Patient ratios: 1:2-3 for days, nights, and weekends
• Weekend coverage required as needed, with every other weekend mandatory
• Float to ED or medical surgical units depending on experience
• May serve as only critical care nurse in hospital and must be competent with running codes
• Will support on floors as tasker including possibly sitter or PCT role
• Care for adults with medical surgical patients and lower acuity ICU patients in mixed stepdown/PCU setting
• Daily census of 2 patients in 4-room unit
• 2 years of nursing experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
• EPIC charting experience required
• Skills include: accessing/managing ports, arterial line management, ventilator management, blood product administration, central line care, IV sedation, high flow nasal cannula, infection prevention, ABG interpretation, dysrhythmia management, phlebotomy, PICC line management, IV starts, suctioning, titrating cardiac and vasoactive drips
• Must have Missouri license or compact license from home state
• Pending license applications accepted
• Maximum 7 days RTO per 13-week contract
• No RTO allowed first week of assignment
• Two supervisory references within last two years required at submittal
• Flu vaccine required with medical/religious exemptions only
