The assignment requires current NY licensure, active DEA, and advanced certifications.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide emergency medical care in a high-acuity ER setting
- Assess, diagnose, and treat acute and emergent conditions
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and care teams to deliver efficient patient care
- Document patient encounters and maintain accurate medical records
- Perform procedures within the scope of emergency medicine as credentialed
- Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols
Additional Information
- Active NY state license, DEA, and board certification required
- Must have completed an EM, FM, or IM residency
- Required certifications: ACLS, PALS (AHA), ATLS
- Must provide supporting documentation including CME and case logs from the past 2 years
- Emergency Nurse Practitioner Certification or Family Nurse Practitioner Certification preferred for NPs
- Ongoing need with potential for assignment extension
