Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) provide anesthesia care for patients across various clinical settings, ensuring safe and effective perioperative management. This locum tenens position involves covering anesthesia cases at a Level 1 Trauma Center with flexible scheduling and no call requirements. Responsibilities include working with anesthesia techs, supervising student nurse anesthetists, and maintaining certifications such as BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NBCRNA certification.

Schedule: 4 ten-hour shifts per week (M Th or T F); 40 hours/week
Willing to split hours between providers depending on availability
Holiday Coverage: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day
Call: No Call
Setting: Inpatient and Outpatient
Telehealth: Not required
EMR: Epic
Practice Setting: Level 1 Trauma Center
Type of Assignment: Locum Tenens
Provide anesthesia coverage across a variety of cases
Must be comfortable responding to codes
Cardiac and OB anesthesia not required but preferred
1:3 or 1:4 CRNA supervision ratio
Work alongside SRNAs (Student Registered Nurse Anesthetists)
36 sites of service daily including 15 general ORs and 2 OH
Anesthesia tech support provided (techs do not report to the anesthesia team)
Licensure: Must be licensed in PA or through IMLC
