Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift ED Hold position in Texas, requiring a TX or compact RN license and recent specialty experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Emergency Department Hold unit of a hospital
• Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week contract assignment
• Care for patients in an ED holding environment
• Must provide required documentation including SSN (no Canadian), DOB, and complete application profile for consideration
• Crisis prevention certification alternatives such as SAMA, MAB, or ACPMA may be accepted
• Certifications must be valid and not expire within the first 30 days of assignment

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Minimum 1 year of recent emergency department experience required
• Current AHA or ARC BLS and ACLS certifications required
• CPI or approved alternative crisis prevention certification required for ER units
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
