Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide general GI care for acute and chronic gastrointestinal conditions
- Manage new patient access and hospital consults
- Perform endoscopies and ambulatory scopes
- Support both outpatient and inpatient settings, including ED and hospital rounding
- Balance responsibilities between ambulatory, inpatient, and emergency department as needed
- Collaborate with GI group on call expectations and patient admits
Additional Information
- Board certification in Gastroenterology required
- Active Illinois state medical license and CSR required
- ACLS and BLS certifications required
- DEA license required
- Minimum of 1 year experience in gastroenterology
