Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Trauma Stepdown position on the Surgical Trauma unit with night shifts and a TX or compact license requirement.
Responsibilities
- Work in the Surgical Trauma unit of a hospital
- Provides trauma stepdown care to adult patients
- Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- 13-week contract assignment
- Documentation requirements include completed application and certifications upon request
- Must be able to provide care for post-surgical and trauma patients in an acute setting
Requirements
- Active TX or compact RN license required
- Minimum 1 year of recent trauma stepdown or related specialty experience
- Current AHA or ARC BLS certification required
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
- US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration (Canadian SSNs not accepted)
