Full description
Facility is seeking BC/BE Vascular Surgeon to join our dynamic and growing surgical team
--Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
--Combination of inpatient, outpatient, and operative responsibilities
--Rounding on surgical inpatients and post-operative follow-ups
--Vascular lab interpretation and interventional procedures as appropriate
--Average of 25 patients in clinic/day
--Surgical volume: elective and emergent vascular cases including:
Aneurysm repair (open and EVAR)
Carotid endarterectomy
Peripheral revascularization
Endovenous ablation
Access procedures for dialysis patients
--State-of-the-art hybrid operating room
--Access to CT angiography, MR angiography, duplex ultrasonography
--Collaboration with advanced practice providers and surgical support teams
--Perform open and endovascular surgeries to treat arterial and venous conditions
--Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, diagnostic interpretations, and surgical planning
--Collaborate with referring physicians and other departments for continuity of care
--Educate patients and families on conditions, procedures, and post-op expectations
--Participate in hospital quality improvement initiatives, case reviews, and committees
