Position Overview:
Ashtabula Regional Medical Center (ARMC), an esteemed affiliate of the Cleveland Clinic, is seeking a full-time Family Medicine Physician to join our dynamic multispecialty team. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated clinician to provide comprehensive primary care in a supportive environment. The position offers exposure to diverse patient populations across multiple locations, with a focus on quality care, professional growth, and work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients aged 5 years and older, including adult, geriatric, and pediatric populations.
- Conduct approximately 20 patient visits per day, demonstrating efficiency and quality care within a collaborative team setting.
- Manage patient needs through various modalities, including preventive care, acute illness management, and chronic disease follow-up.
- Participate in on-call duties 3-4 days per month, ensuring 24/7 patient access and continuity of care.
- Collaborate regularly with orthopedic and sports medicine teams, especially for providers in our sports medicine clinic.
- Utilize on-site diagnostics such as plain X-ray, ultrasound-guided injections, and conduct concussion evaluations.
- Orient and coordinate with a team of 10 mid-level providers, maintaining high standards of patient care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation using the EPIC electronic medical record system.
- Comply with all medical regulations, licensing, and hospital policies.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine.
- Current ACLS and BLS certification.
- Ability to obtain and maintain Ohio medical licensure.
- Willingness to work at either practice location and to see a diverse patient demographic.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to quality patient care.
- Must reside within 40 miles of Ashtabula or be willing to relocate.
- Organized, adaptable, and team-oriented.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience or training in Sports Medicine is desired, including ultrasound injections and concussion management.
- Recent graduates from accredited family medicine residency programs are welcome to apply (graduates expected in 2025).
