Opportunity:

Job Details:
• Provide medical surgical nursing care for adult and geriatric patients
• Patient ratio of 6:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• Work every other weekend
• No call responsibilities
• Float within facility/scope of practice as needed
• Minimum 1 year of experience required - unit accepts first time travelers
• 24 hours of orientation provided
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Care for patients with general medical surgical conditions and peritoneal dialysis
• Skills include continuous bladder irrigation, isolation precautions, telemetry, peripheral line care, pre/post hemodialysis management, and oxygen administration
• Maximum 7 days requested time off allowed
• Holiday work requirements based on number of major holidays during assignment period
• Full compliance required to start on time with Georgia or Compact license
• Must be available to submit core items and complete labs within 48 hours of signing contract
