What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the assigned location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities.
• Monitor for unusual or suspicious activity and report findings according to established protocols.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disturbances and/or rule violations.
• Interact professionally with visitors, staff, and/or members of the public while upholding Allied Universal standards.
• Complete required reports and documentation accurately and promptly.
• Follow all client and Allied Universal guidelines for armed patrol posts in a government environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• An armed guard card or license is required.
• A minimum of six months of armed security, law enforcement, and/or military experience is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
