RN - Med Surg Tele
Job Details:
• Work 3x12 night shifts with every other weekend coverage required
• Maintain 1:5 to 1:7 patient ratio for Medical Surgical unit
• Care for 26-bed unit specializing in post-PCI, pacemaker, AICD, and post-MI patients
• Also work on 36-bed Hematology/Oncology unit with developing bone marrow transplant program
• Manage patients receiving chemotherapy, recovering from treatment, and those with cancer diagnoses
• Float to Medical Surgical units as needed
• Must have New York license in hand prior to submission
• Must be located more than 75 miles from facility (no locals accepted)
• Required certifications: Chemotherapy certification, ACLS, and BLS
• Must be proficient in EPIC charting system
• Minimum 2 years of experience required with travel experience preferred
• Scrubs must be navy and white color combination
• Opportunity to cross-train in MICU for bone marrow transplant patients
• 20 hours of orientation provided
• Care for adult and geriatric patient populations
• Two pre-approved time off requests allowed
