Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Med/Surg/Oncology RN with at least one year of recent specialty experience and a current CO or compact RN license for a night shift hospital assignment.
Responsibilities
- Position is on a Med/Surg/Oncology unit in a hospital setting
- Handles a mixed patient population with medical and oncology cases
- Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- 13-week contract assignment
- Role involves providing nursing care, medication administration, and care management for Med/Surg and oncology patients
- Holiday and weekend coverage may be required as per unit needs
- Additional professional references may be required depending on state of licensure
- First-time travelers will be considered
Requirements
- Active CO or compact RN license
- Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg/Oncology RN experience
- Current AHA or ARC BLS certification with no expiration within first 30 days of start
- CHEMO certification (ONC) required for RNs working in Oncology
- No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
- Must provide: complete application, verification of licensure, and copies of relevant certifications
- Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius from the facility; no local candidates will be considered
- U.S. Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
