Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Pediatric RN with at least 2 years of acute inpatient pediatric experience and a current MD or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital-based acute care pediatric unit
• Inpatient pediatric population requiring acute care
• 48 hours per week with rotating shifts
• Shift hours are 07:00–19:30
• Every other weekend and holiday shifts are required
• All candidates must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a valid US home address
• Local candidates will be considered but will receive a reduced rate per radius rule
• Candidates are limited to applying for one position at a time within the health system
• Holiday coverage is required as part of the work schedule
• COVID vaccination is not required for this position
• Submittal requires specific verification documents, including driver’s license and two professional references

Requirements

• Active MD or compact RN license required
• At least 2 years of recent inpatient pediatric nursing experience preferred
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required
• Nursys verification and primary source license verification required within 30 days of assignment start
