Functional Description

The ideal candidate for the Order Fulfillment Specialist role will be responsible for handling incoming orders, ensuring accuracy in processing, and coordinating with various departments to ensure timely fulfillment. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Scope of Outcomes

The core responsibilities for this position include:

  • Accurately process and enter customer orders into the company’s system
  • Verify order details, pricing, and availability of products
  • Coordinate with warehouse and shipping teams to ensure timely fulfillment and delivery
  • Communicate with customers regarding order status, shipping details, and any issues that arise
  • Handle order modifications, cancellations, and returns as necessary
  • Work closely with sales, customer service, and inventory teams to resolve order discrepancies
  • Maintain accurate records of orders and customer interactions
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all order transactions
  • Qualifications

    Required qualifications include: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Proven experience in order processing, data entry, or a related field
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and order management software
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Customer service-oriented mindset with problem-solving abilities
  • Environmental and Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift 40
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to travel occasionally domestically
  • Dexterous ability to manipulate small objects
  • Willing to work standard and non-standard hours as required to support the customers

    Compensation details: 24-28 Hourly Wage
