This role involves developing and implementing a groundbreaking Internal Medicine Residency Program within a vibrant and dynamic multispecialty group. Key Facts about the Role: Hospital-employed opportunity within a large and busy multispecialty group, focusing on outpatient internal medicine. The role encompasses 0.8 clinical supervision of residents in outpatient internal medicine and dedicates 0.2 FTE to administrative duties. Active involvement in didactics and educational activities, including lectures, journal clubs, simulation days, and research sessions. Encourage and engage residents in scholarly activities, including case write-ups, quality improvement projects, and other publishable work. Participate in committees and social gatherings, fostering a collaborative and supportive educational environment. Oversee residents‘ educational goals, ensuring comprehensive hands-on clinical training in outpatient internal medicine and providing constructive feedback. Supervise residents in documentation, order writing, and care plan articulation, ensuring adherence to best practices. Provide formal and informal feedback to residents throughout their supervisory periods, fostering their learning and growth. Qualifications: Physicians must be board-certified or board-eligible in the United States in Internal Medicine. Encouragement for outpatient procedures and ultrasound skills, with opportunities for additional training to develop these abilities.
