Locum Tenens Infectious Disease Physician Near Cameron, Arizona September through December Position Overview: We are seeking a Board-Certified Infectious Disease Physician for a full-time locum tenens assignment at a respected hospital facility in Northern Arizona. This is a 4-month opportunity to deliver impactful care in a collaborative and well-supported environment. Position Details: Location: Near Cameron, Arizona Start Date: September 1, 2025 Duration: 4 months (September - December) Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with an hour for lunch Coverage: Scheduled shifts with no call duties Hospital Bed Size: 269 Responsibilities: Provide inpatient care within the infectious disease unit Collaborate with a team of two employed physicians Conduct special procedures, including fecal transplants Utilize Cerner EMR for patient charting Requirements: Board Certification in Infectious Disease AZ or IMLC State License (or willingness to obtain) DEA Certification Proficiency in managing infectious diseases Experience with inpatient settings is preferred Additional Information: Support staff includes nurses for inpatient and OPAT medical assistants Credentialing timeframe is approximately 30 days Patient volume and demographics vary based on inpatient census This is an excellent opportunity for a physician looking to make a meaningful impact while working in a state-of-the-art facility.
