Sumo Medical Staffing is recruiting experienced OB/GYN physicians for 24-hour in-house hospitalist coverage in Prestonsburg, Kentucky. This role supports a growing OB program with a mix of inpatient hospitalist responsibilities and outpatient clinic care, offering ongoing opportunities within a collaborative care model.

The Obstetrics/Gynecology Role:

• Location: Prestonsburg, KY
• Setting: OB/GYN Hospitalist Inpatient & Outpatient
• Schedule: 24-hour in-house shifts
• Coverage Model: 1 OB covering all unassigned patients
• Anticipated Deliveries: 200 per year (unassigned vs private)
• NICU Level: II
• Anesthesia Coverage: Daily onsite coverage with 24/7 call

Requirements of the Obstetrics and Gynecology role:

• KY state license; active, unrestricted
• Board certified OBGYN
• KY DEA, BLS, ACLS
• Covid Vaccination- Required or Medical Exemption
• 100 deliveries in past 24 months no assisted, but preformed
• 25 GYN Cases in the last 12 months
