The Role:
•Location: Hurley / Ironwood, MI
•Assignment duration: Locum Obstetrics/Gynecologist needed to start ASAP and work ongoing
•MI license preferred.
•Our current needs are: November 14 at 7am, CST through 7am on November 21 and 7am on December 21 through 7am on January 1st.
•Coverage: 12 hour. 7am-7pm.This call is not a very busy call.
•We have 80 births per year. Low risk only.
•Required Specialty Skills: Low risk pregnancy, FHR interpretation - NST/CST/FSE, Routine delivery, Vaginal, Decision-making for c-section, C-section, Repair of 3rd; 4th degree lacerations.
•Preferred Specialty Skills: High risk pregnancy, OB Ultrasounds - Performance of, interpretation, Level I/Screening (viability), Level II/Targeted (anatomic), Low forceps, Complicated delivery, Breech, Multiple births, Abruptions, Surgical gynecology -, Open, Laparoscopic diagnostic/minor only - tubal ligation, LOA 39;s, chronal tubation, Operative/major (includes diagnostic) - ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy, extensive LOA's.
•Practice Settings: Inpatient.
•Call Type: Beeper.
•Licensed in MI only.
•Fellowship: Preferred.
•ACLS, BLS.EMR: Epic.
•Credentialing: 90 days for full credentials, able to grant temps.
