Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an RN for a Neuro Unit night shift position, requiring BLS and NIHSS certifications.
Responsibilities
- Work in a hospital on the 6 North Neurology unit
- Neurological patient population
- Night shift schedule from 19:00 to 07:30
- Every other weekend and every other holiday coverage required
- Compliance with facility dress and appearance policies is required; jeans, halter-tops, shorts, sleeveless shirts, and facial earrings are not permitted
- Accurate timekeeping for work periods and meal breaks is expected
- No payment provided for sick time or call-offs, but make-up shifts may be requested at the facility's discretion
- First-time travelers will be considered for this position
Requirements
- Active RN license in hand
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
- Current NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
- License verification dated within 30 days of start required
- COVID vaccination card required for consideration
