RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.
Opportunity:
RN - Trauma ICU
Job Details:
• Work in 30-bed Trauma ICU unit with 2:1 patient ratios for ICU and 4:1 for PCU
• Required to work 2 weekends per pay period
• Float to MSICU, CVICU, Neuro ICU or any PCU unit as needed
• Must have Trauma, Burn, and Surgical ICU experience
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills required
• Perform typical ICU procedures including wound care, codes, EVDs, and MTP
• Work with critical care equipment, burn ICU and trauma ICU technology
• Use Meditech EMR system
• Dress code requires royal blue scrubs
• BSN and CCRN certification preferred
• RN license required
• Must be team-based, comfortable asking questions, and willing to help others
• Work alongside CNCs/Relief Charges with varying RN and PCT staffing based on census
