As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a bustling retail location, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. This is an armed and driving post, requiring you to remain visible and approachable as you conduct routine patrols. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and support a secure environment.
• Observe and report any suspicious activities or potential hazards to Allied Universal management and client representatives.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter theft, vandalism, and other unwanted behaviors within the retail or mall setting.
• Interact with the public, employees, and/or vendors in a courteous and professional manner while upholding Allied Universal standards.
• Assist local law enforcement and/or emergency personnel as needed during critical situations or emergencies at the location.
• Carry and maintain proficiency with assigned firearms and related equipment in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
• Complete required logs, reports, and documentation accurately and promptly as part of daily duties.

Minimum Requirements:

• An active armed guard card or license is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR and first aid certification is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
