Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring at least 2 years of recent OR experience and a SC or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Operating Room department of a hospital
• Case types include general, neuro, ortho, and robotics surgeries
• 5x8 or 4x10 shifts, Monday through Friday with a shift time of 07:00-15:30
• Required call coverage of 3-4 days per month and one weekend every 6 weeks
• Uses Epic EMR system
• Responsibilities include preparing the OR and positioning patients for procedures
• Performs circulating duties efficiently and with attention to patient safety
• Expected to contribute to departmental efficiency and maintain supply/equipment control
• Must participate in assigned call rotation
• Fosters communication with the operating team and patient's family
• Adheres to service excellence standards and promotes a professional working environment

Requirements

• Active SC or compact RN license required prior to start
• Minimum of 2 years recent Operating Room RN experience
• Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Experience with Epic EMR preferred
