Responsibilities and Duties
- Perform advanced trauma life support in an acute care setting
- Conduct tube thoracostomy and central venous catheter placements; arterial line placement preferred
- Deliver care to trauma surgery patients as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records using Cerner EMR
- Ensure adherence to all required safety, quality, and compliance protocols
Additional Information
- Board certification in surgery required
- Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) certification required
- DEA certification required
- No new graduates; prior experience necessary
- Must hold an active North Carolina license
