American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Pediatric Behavioral Health night shift role requiring at least 2 years of pediatric psych experience and an active OR RN license.
Responsibilities- Work in a short term acute care hospital on the Pediatric Behavioral Health unit
- Night shifts are 3x12-hour from 19:00 to 07:00
- Weekend shifts required every other weekend
- Nurse-to-patient ratios are 1:5 on evenings and 1:10 on night shifts
- Frequent float required between units and facilities based on staffing needs
- Epic EMR is used for all charting; experience with Epic is required
- All travelers may be required to float to facilities within the state, including Milwaukie, Newberg, Portland, Hood River, Willamette Falls, Seaside, and Saint Vincent
- Travelers who float to Seaside may be eligible for added wage incentives and reimbursement
- Minimal approved time off is permitted; extended time off may impact consideration for assignment
- Free parking is provided
- Any color scrubs may be worn
- Active Oregon RN license required
- Minimum 2 years of pediatric psych RN experience required
- No first-time travelers will be considered for this role
- Must have a vehicle for assignment-related travel
- Ability to float to multiple facilities as required
- Must be able to provide at least two supervisory references from the past three years in a relevant clinical specialty
- Former permanent employees must wait at least 3 months before returning and must live more than 50 miles from the facility
