Job Details:

• Work 13-week assignment with 3x12 hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• Patient ratio of 1:5
• 2 years of nursing experience required with previous charge and teaching hospital experience preferred
• 8 weekend shifts required in 6-week schedule period (combination of Friday/Saturday/Sunday)
• Holiday shifts and charge RN assignments as needed
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Must be experienced in MS/Tele, Telemetry, Cardiac Telemetry, ER Holding, Neuro Stepdown, PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown
• Skills include cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, post-cardiac procedures, IV therapy, blood product administration, central line care, PICC management, heparin protocols, cardiac drips, PCA, respiratory care including chest tubes and tracheostomy management
• Regular floating required between departments, units, and facilities as needed
• Must hold both Kansas and Missouri nursing licenses or compact license
• No on-call requirements
• Local candidates not accepted (must live 75+ miles from facility)
• Maximum 7 days RTO allowed
• Guaranteed 3 shifts per 13-week contract
• 12 hours orientation required
• Epic charting system experience preferred
