Opportunity:
RN - ICU Neuro
Job Details:
• 7-week contract with 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 12-hour day/night variable shifts
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• Float between Neuro Critical Care ICU and MSICU units with possible float to other critical care and inpatient units as needed
• Can be low censused and put on call with 2-hour minimum call back
• Contract eligible for 36 hours of low census unbillable hours
• Must be outside 50-mile radius of facility
• Required certifications: Wisconsin RN License, BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Minimum 2 years experience with 1 travel assignment preferred
• Med/Surg ICU and/or Neuro ICU background with strong Neuro assessment skills required
• EPIC charting experience required
• Work in 8-bed Neuro unit caring for stroke, TBI, head injury, and neurosurgery patients
• Experience with EVDs and ICP monitoring needed
• Perform Neuro assessments and basic bedside ICU procedures including line placement and intubation
• Handle bolt and drain bedside placements with Neurosurgery team
• Must be able to manage independently and complete tasks timely
• Any color scrubs acceptable
• During flu season, unvaccinated travelers must wear masks at all times per facility policy
• Associate Degree or Certificate required
