Urgent Need for a Cardiovascular Surgeon - Michigan (Locums)

We have an urgent locum tenens need for a Cardiovascular Surgeon in Michigan from December 23, 2024, to January 2, 2025. This position involves both clinic and call coverage.

• Schedule: Clinic from 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 24-hour call. One business day of orientation. Sample schedule: 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off.
• Cases/Procedures: Bread and Butter open heart surgery.
• Clinical Support: APPs available.
• EMR: Athena for clinic, Sunrise Allscripts for hospital.

Required Experience, Training, and Certifications:

• ACLS certification
• Case logs: Must have performed 75 cases in the last 12 months

Licensing: Must hold an IMLC or MI license due to the tight turnaround.

Credentialing Timeframe: Typically 30 days, but applications are prioritized based on start date.
