Job Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled Neuro ICU Registered Nurse for a travel contract in California. The ideal candidate has specific experience managing complex neurological conditions and is comfortable working in a high-acuity environment with a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio. Please note: This position requires flexibility to float to the Emergency Department or Central Monitoring if needed.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Licensure: Active California RN License required in hand at time of submission.
- Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of total RN experience.
- MUST HAVE at least 1 year of dedicated Neuro ICU experience clearly reflected on your profile/resume.
- EMR: Epic experience is required.
- Certifications:
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required.
- TNCC highly preferred.
Shift & Schedule Details
- Schedule: 3x12 Hour Shifts.
- Weekend Requirement: Every Other Weekend (EOW).
Floating Policy
- Scope: Candidates must be willing to float to the Emergency Department (ED), Step Down Unit, or the Central Monitoring Department based on facility needs.
