A well-established neuroscience program in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a BC/BE Neuro-Ophthalmologist to join a highly experienced team. This role focuses on diagnosing and treating vision problems related to neurological conditions, using advanced technology and a team-based care model.
• Provide comprehensive neuro-ophthalmologic evaluation and care
• Diagnose and treat visual pathway disorders and eye movement abnormalities
• Manage unexplained or sudden vision loss
• Perform specialized testing including visual acuity, visual fields, pupillary response, color vision, ocular alignment, and OCT
• Strong interdisciplinary care model including RN, MA, technicians, social work, therapy, and patient support teams
• Emphasis on patient and family education
• Recognized program for comprehensive neurologic and vision care
• General Neurology visits may be required initially as the practice grows
• Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible (must obtain BC within 2 years)
• Eligible for Michigan medical license
• Clean malpractice history Required
• DEA and BLS (or willing to obtain)
• Open to new graduates
• Visa support: H-1B only (not open to J-1)
• Locum candidates not accepted
• Candidates with lapsed board certification are not eligible
