A hospital in Maine is seeking a BC/BE Orthopedic Surgeon to independently lead orthopedic practice, managing clinical and surgical orthopedic care including joint replacements and fracture repairs. The role involves comprehensive patient care from consultations through surgery and rehabilitation, collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team. Hospital is seeking BC/BE Orthopedic Surgeon to lead their own orthopedic practice- Youll have the autonomy to develop your own clinical approach and build strong relationships with patients within the community. - As the solo orthopedic provider, youll be comfortable and confident managing all aspects of the practice.- Experience a fulfilling mix of clinical responsibilities, including patient consultations, pre- and post-operative care, and surgical procedures.- Perform a wide range of orthopedic surgical procedures to diagnose and treat musculoskeletal conditions, including but not limited to: Joint replacements (hip & knee, shoulder if training permits), Fracture repair, Arthroscopic surgery- Provide comprehensive care to patients, from pre-operative consultations and surgical planning to post-operative follow-up and rehabilitation.- Collaborate effectively with nurses, other physicians (such as primary care providers, physical therapists, and pain management specialists), and healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient-centered care.- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the overall growth and development of the orthopedic program - Competitive salary and benefits package, including health insurance, dental and vision coverage, 403(b) retirement plan with employer match, personal time off, flexible spending account, employer-paid long-term disability, group life and AD&D insurance, and more.- Achieve work-life balance with flexible scheduling options, including potential 4-day work weeks and part-time (2 weeks per month) or full-time options.- Relocation and student loan repayment assistance may be available to qualified candidates.- Opportunities for professional development, including CME allowances and potential for leadership roles within the hospital.- Required: Maine license, Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a clinical setting
