Opportunity:
Nuclear Medical Technician - Nuclear Med Technician / Radiology
Job Details:
• Work Monday through Friday schedule with no weekend coverage required
• No call responsibilities
• Primarily PET technician role with PET/CT experience required
• 2 years minimum experience required - unit accepts first-time travelers
• Float within facility/scope of practice as needed
• 40 hours of orientation required
• Patient ratio of 1:1 during day shifts
• Work with adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations
• Required certifications: BLS, PET
• Must be proficient in various nuclear medicine procedures including 3 Phase, Bone scans, Cancer surveys, HIDA scans, PET scans, Renal/Perfusion studies, and more
• Experience with Epic charting system preferred
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Must be able to start and maintain IVs and draw venous blood
• Must have knowledge of storing, handling, and disposal of radioactive materials
• Holiday work required based on assignment period (work 1-2 holidays if they fall during assignment)
• Maximum 7 days RTO allowed
• Georgia or compact license required at time of submission
• Two supervisory references highly preferred at submission
