Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:
• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM

• Floating requirement to other units as needed

• Required certifications: TNCC, BLS, ACLS (AHA certified)
• Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license required
• Coordinate and implement patient care specific to age of patient population served
• Ensure quality care is provided in efficient and safe manner consistent with unit standards
• Must handle emergency/crisis situations effectively
• Requires prolonged standing, walking, and heavy physical effort for patient positioning and transfers
• Work involves considerable reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling and crouching
• Must demonstrate current knowledge and skills appropriate to patient population served
• Communicate clearly and appropriately to developmental age of patients
• Work schedule varies with flexibility required for unexpected changes and emergencies
• Exposure to bloodborne pathogens, infectious diseases, and x-rays
