Our client, an educational institution dedicated to student success and community development, is seeking a Financial Aid Supervisor to join their team. As a Financial Aid Supervisor, you will be part of the Student Services Department supporting the Financial Aid Office. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Columbia, SC

Pay Range: $65000 - $80000

What's the Job?

  • Oversee the processing and accuracy of student financial aid packages to ensure compliance with current laws and regulations.
  • Manage and motivate a team of financial aid administrators, providing coaching and ongoing training to foster professional growth.
  • Review and reconcile all student packaging to ensure completeness and correctness before submission for processing.
  • Monitor and track financial aid disbursements, account balances, and potential defaults to support student success and institutional goals.
  • Coordinate exit interviews and ensure all outstanding balances are resolved for graduating, dropped, or dismissed students.
