Special Education Teachers for 2025-2026 School Year
Southside Chicago school seeks Licensed (LBSI or II) Special Education teachers.
Required Qualifications:
- An active Illinois Special Education license is required for this position. Hold Illinois PEL (Professional Educator License) in Special Education LBSI / II).
- Experience working collaboratively in a student-centered environment.
- 1-2 years’ experience a plus. New grads will be considered.
- Credentials to be collected prior to and upon hire.
Responsibilities:
- Teach as part of a department or grade level team as mutually agreed.K-5th grade classrooms avaialb
- Able to implement and support school policies, participate in orientations, meetings (staff and parent) and other conferences/institute days as directed.
- Implement school education programs and philosophy.
- Monday-Friday as per school schedule. Full time (limited part time opportunities available).
- Additional responsibilities as assigned.
Work Hours:
- Follow school hours Monday-Friday; depending on the building’s hours.
- @35 hours/week.
Salary and Benefits:
- $43/hr for new grad, other salary based upon experience. Weekly pay.
