Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Cath/IR Scrub RN with at least 1 year of Cath Lab or IR experience and a KS or compact RN license.
Responsibilities
- Work in the Cardiac Cath Lab, IR, and occasionally float to the EP Lab
- Patient populations include cardiac and electrophysiology cases, including pacemaker procedures
- Schedule is Monday to Friday, 7am to 5:30pm, with one weekday off and occasional late stays to complete cases
- On-call required 1-2 weeknights and every 3rd or 4th weekend
- EPIC is the EMR system used, and experience is preferred
- Floating between Cath Lab, IR, and EP as needed
- RNs may be asked to scrub Cath, IR, and EP procedures
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team in a nicotine-free facility
- Attend a two-day orientation followed by a facility orientation session
- Weekend shifts are only required when on-call
- Facility may cancel one shift per two-week pay period with a minimum two-hour notice
Requirements
- Active KS or compact state RN license required
- Minimum of 1 year recent Cath Lab or IR RN experience required
- ARRT or RCIS certification required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Experience with pacemaker procedures preferred
- Ability to float to the EP Lab as needed
