Join a leading healthcare facility in the heart of Des Moines, Iowa, offering a unique Locum to Perm opportunity for an inpatient Gastroenterologist. Job Responsibilities:
- Provide hospital-based coverage for inpatient procedures and consultations.
- Conduct 3-4 outpatient procedures daily.
- Perform ERCP, with EUS highly preferred.
- Offer adult-only Gastroenterology services.
- Utilize Cerner EMR for documentation and patient management.
- Be part of a 24-hour on-call rotation from 7 AM to 7 AM.
Qualifications:
- Must be interested in a Locum to Perm position.
- Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible within 3 years of residency.
- Active Iowa License or IMLC.
- ACLS certification required.
- Ability to work inpatient settings is essential.
- ERCP experience is a must; EUS experience is highly preferred.
- COVID vaccination is required.
- Maintain a clean malpractice and background history.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Active Iowa Licensure or Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC).
- Current ACLS certification.
- ERCP skills are mandatory; EUS skills are highly regarded.
